Available in green, red, and blue. The blockout pens are a quick and convenient way to repair small pinholes in the screen. The green pens dry very rapidly and work great for on-press repairs. The red and blue pens are slower drying for off-press repairs.
Drying Times:
* Green pen dries in 30 to 90 seconds
* Red pen dries in 10 to 15 minutes
* Blue pen dries in 15 to 20 minutes
Our Take:
For small pinholes or scratches in the emulsion, blockout pens are the quickest and easiest way to repair. You can use tape if you would like. However, this takes more time to apply and more time to get out of the screen mesh in the washout booth. We would much prefer to clean the blockout as it dissolves very easily with no residue left behind.
